I thought my leg was all better but we went bowling for my Birthday and my leg has ached ever since. I'm back at the acupuncturist treating the back. I think I'm officially out of the race. Walking even short distances causes lots of leg pain and I get a big tight calf muscle. I can ride the bike and do yoga and probably swim although I haven't tried. Walking and definitely running are not working for me at all.

Sky, I am so sorry about your leg. It seems like you just need a long time to rest it. Don't count yourself out of any races yet, it's only February....

ReplyDeleteDid I ever show you how to do the frog-the exercise on your back that you put your soles together, pull them up toward your body and do a pelvic tilt several times as you move your legs back out. It might help. I can explain it better on the phone. It sounds like my problems. It is worh a try and can't hurt. It releases the nerve that makes sciatica so painful. xxo
